What's your favorite song with "America" or "USA" in the title? Bonus points if you share it with us.
There are a few, like Iced Earth's sincere rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner". And you can't forget Jimi Hendrix's version. Although these don't have "America" or "USA" in the title, do they?
Anyway, my very, very favorite is "America" by Spinal Tap. Certainly their original "Black Album" was the inspiration for Metallica's album of the same name. Yes? Anybody know?
The complete lyrics to this divine tune:
We came like babies
From our home across the sea
To see America.
And the people opened up their arms
To welcome us...to America.
We came like children
From a far and distant land
To see America, and the golden
Sun of freedom filtered down to us,
In America.
And the people stood and stared
Loved us more than we had dared--to
In America.
Super highways here and there
Pretty womens everywhere.
Brady Bunch and Smokey Bear.
Buildings reaching to the sky
Afro-sheen and apple pie.
PTA and FBI.
The jumbo jet begins to rise
A joyful nation waves its bye-byes.
Each religion, race, and creed
Gets exactly what they need.
God bless Johnny Appleseed!
How old were you when you had your first "official" boyfriend or girlfriend? What was he/she like?
I was 4, and her name was La la. No joke. My Mum still has the wide-lined paper with the, "I love La la" written on it. La la's dad was a graduate school student who lived in an apartment complex on the other side of the block. All I remember about her was that I liked her and she liked Big Wheels. Our only activity I can remember was riding around the block until we got tired.
Unlike most boys, there was never a time when I didn't like girls. I've always thought that women were the best thing God gave this pale, blue dot. And yet, all my friends were boys. I tended to either admire the fairer sex from a distance or simply annoy the living crap out of them. Needless to say, girlfriends were rare in my life.

List five reasons (at least) why you are awesome.
Submitted by goobers18.
1. I no longer wear shoes without socks.
2. I have more hair on my head than I do on my back.
3. I'm not on a mobster's hit list.
4. My wife is better looking than me.
5. I don't wear Polo cologne.
Addendum: INMHO, anyone who really thinks they're awesome should be pummelled.
Where is the farthest you have ever been away from home? Did you get homesick?
Submitted by Melissa.
The Soviet Union, when it was still the Soviet Union, and yes, I was incredibly homesick. So much so, that I contemplated suicide while in Moscow. Okay, the suicidal thoughts were far more complicated than just being homesick, but I was homesick. I was in Moscow the day Boris Yeltsin was voted the president of the state of Russia, and I was in Berlin when it was voted the capital of the new, unified Germany. It should have been an awesome time, but I hated nearly every minute of it.
What shows are you looking forward to in the new fall TV season?
Since we don't have a TV, we watch a lot of DVDs. I also watch some old TV on the Internet while I'm working. I've been on a big "The FBI" kick lately. I've already watched all of the first three seasons of Babylon 5. All on AOL Television.

Our bedroom -- sleeping or cavorting. Both are great.
What celebrity do you most often get told you resemble?

Dude, this one's for ME. I AM beautiful, and I know who I look like. Nobody has to tell me.
I mean, duh.
My hero.
Tell us about a time when you were brave.

Well, there was this time when I pulled a splinter out of my own hand. Does that count?
