I like the picture of your cat's pile of fur. Fascinating how much fur you are able to glean off that cat.

Miles the Terrible was a shelter cat on "death row". I brought him in to my place as a "foster pet", to be nurtured back to health (he had URI) and returned to the shelter for adoption. The first part worked -- after five days of not eating, I was finally able to get him to eat and drink -- but the second part didn't. He didn't make it back to the shelter as I'd become terribly attached. I did have to go through the approval process all over again, though, to officially adopt him.
